The “Tif Aziz” convoy concludes its tour by visiting 53 cities, governorates and villages around the Kingdom

The “Tif Aziz” mobile convoy - one of the projects of the Autism Families Association - completed its tour around the Kingdom, visiting 53 cities, governorates and villages in 13 regions, over a long trip that lasted about three months, to raise awareness and early detection of people with autism spectrum disorder throughout the Kingdom, in partnership with the Ministry of Health. Health, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and with official sponsorship from the “Tafif Aziz Center” for Developmental and Behavioral Disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The convoy was launched under the generous patronage of Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of the Riyadh Region, in the presence of Prince Saud bin Farhan Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Autism Families Association, in an event that is the first and largest of its kind to serve people with autism in the Kingdom.

The “Taif Aziz” convoy traveled around the Kingdom, covering about 12,000 kilometers, in a journey that defied obstacles and distances. It was visited by more than 10,000 visitors, and provided its services and direct and digital consultations to about 4,000 people, as a contribution from the association in extending a helping hand and support to families with disorders. Autism Spectrum, by providing a range of multiple services ranging from awareness of early detection of the disorder, to drawing a road map for people with autism spectrum and their families using advanced technical means.

The convoy is the first to tour all regions of the Kingdom, equipped with the latest equipment and advanced technologies, and supported by a package of electronic services and introductory and awareness-raising presentations about autism spectrum disorder. It conducted more than 1,500 electronic questionnaires in its specialty, with the aim of collecting statistical information that contributes to conducting scientific research, to be A link between various medical service providers for people with autism.

Through the questionnaire, families and visitors are able to infer the correct diagnosis, get to know care providers according to their geographical location, and the possibility of booking appointments with doctors and specialists, and attending workshops and rehabilitative lectures targeting autistic families and all segments of society.

At the end of the convoy tour, the Autism Families Association expressed its thanks, gratitude and appreciation to its partners and supporters, and everyone who contributed to delivering the services of the “Tif Aziz” convoy to the beneficiaries. At the same time, it appreciated the efforts of the emirates of the regions and the secretariats of cities and municipalities to support and host, serving and helping the people of society, especially those with disabilities.
