The Autism Families Association (AFA) holds an agreement with the Madinah Education Department.

The Autism Families Association (AFA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Madinah Education Department, represented by Taiba Educational City for Special Education, in order to upgrade the quality of services provided to people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the western region.

The memorandum included several important aspects, most notably the joint cooperation between the two entities in holding lectures and awareness workshops for the public according to the strategic plans followed and the commitment to organise training and rehabilitation programmes and activities and work on organising scientific seminars and conferences, especially the exchange of advice and expertise in all fields related to people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Farhan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said: ‘In the autism sector, we seek to harness all capabilities and hold the most important partnerships with major specialised entities to provide high-level services for people with autism spectrum disorder. This agreement comes within the series of our main objectives to cover all the needs of autistic people and their families regionally in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are optimistic about the successive and successive growth and prosperity of the cases of our dear sons and daughters with autism spectrum disorder, and our success is only by God.’

The Autism Families Association serves thousands of people with autism and their families in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with nearly 7,000 registered beneficiaries.
