In a first-of-its-kind move, the Autism Families Association, sponsored by Fahad Bin Saidan Company, launched “Majid Podcast,” the first of its kind globally, with young Abdulmajeed Al-Muzaini, one of the association's beneficiaries, becoming the first broadcaster with autism spectrum disorder in the world.
The podcast features 10 episodes of interviews with various personalities, including Their Highnesses, Their Excellencies, celebrities, writers, media figures, and specialists on the Shahid platform.
Abdulmajeed hosts his guests in a rich dialogue space related to each guest's field of expertise, where they discuss ambition, media, art, entertainment, cooking, psychology, human relations, the potential for success in different work environments, engineering, space science, astronomy, and especially autism.
This unique podcast highlights the strengths of people with autism and documents the bond between them, their families, and society. It also enriches Saudi media content with a podcast presented by a person with autism.
For his part, His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Farhan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, said: "We are delighted today to launch the most unique and distinguished media program in the media and autism sector worldwide. Broadcaster Abdulmajeed Al-Muzaini carries an exceptional and unprecedented message through which he expresses the views of people with autism and their families. Through this work, Abdulmajeed demonstrates the potential of people with autism and the extent of social acceptance by prominent figures, breaking down the barriers of anxiety and fear that plague thousands of families with autistic members. A powerful podcast with rich content and timely topics. Episodes cover various specialties and feature influential figures. We extend our gratitude to all our distinguished guests and ask God Almighty to grant them continued success and guidance.
It is worth mentioning that the podcast is broadcast on the Shahid platform and MBC FM with two episodes every week starting from December 14, specifically every Sunday and Thursday.
