Autism Families Association signs memorandum of understanding with American Board QABA

In a new development, the Autism Families Association signed a memorandum of understanding with the Qualified Applied Behavior Accreditation Board (QABA).


This memorandum aims to develop the workforce in the autism sector in the Kingdom, cooperate in launching initiatives and programs of mutual interest within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, conduct studies and research in the field of autism spectrum disorder, work to disseminate them, organize seminars and scientific and practical activities, especially workshops and training programs for specialists and service providers for people with autism spectrum disorder, and contributing to the development of initiatives to improve the quality of services through the adoption of guidelines and recommended best practices, and more.


This memorandum is part of a series of local and international collaborations aimed at improving the infrastructure of autism services in the Kingdom, based on the Association's ongoing interest in the importance of science and keeping pace with developments and updates in research and studies on everything that supports and empowers people with autism in the best possible way.


It is worth noting that this partnership is the first of its kind in the sector.
