Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Farhan Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Autism Families Association, signed on Monday evening a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi Society for Special Education (Jester) in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society, Dr. Nasser Al-Ajami, and the presence of the Secretary General of the Society, Ms. Areej Al-Moallem. At the headquarters of King Saud University in Riyadh.
The agreement aimed at several different tracks, most notably exchanging experiences, knowledge, scientific and research production in the field of autism spectrum disorder, holding workshops, awareness and public lectures, organizing joint programs and activities to rehabilitate and train people with autism spectrum disorder, and more.
Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Farhan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated: This fruitful agreement comes, God willing, within the series of our strategic plans in the development of projects and businesses in the autism sector based on scientific and research robustness and the most prominent modern practices in the field with the relevant authorities, which are inherently linked to the quality of the services provided to our sons and daughters with autism spectrum disorder.”
In the same context, it is worth mentioning the Society's commitment and interest in publishing the most prominent international studies in the field and its weekly answers to common specialized questions with elite experts and specialists through its official platforms. Especially its periodic publication of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Research Guide on its official website.
