Under the auspices of the Theater and Performing Arts Authority, the Autism Families Association presented 12 heroes with autism in a comedy theatrical show entitled “Hall 4” at the Eastern Province Secretariat Theater, in the presence of the Director General of the Ministry of Human Resources branch in the Eastern Province, Abdul Rahman Al-Muqbel, and a number of officials and interested parties.
The first show received great interaction and witnessed a notable attendance from the audience, especially families who brought their children to enjoy the show, which was characterized by suspense, fun and humor.
The theatrical work included comic and literary characters from contemporary Arab and international history in the story, whose events take place at a train station heading to the future, and the conflict in the play takes place between characters from the past and the present to embark on this fateful journey.
It is noteworthy that the play came as a continuation of the association’s work and its role in empowering and highlighting the talents and energies of people with autism through its specific artistic project in cooperation with the Theater and Performing Arts Authority, with the aim of raising awareness and knowledge in society and correcting misconceptions about people with autism spectrum disorder. They are a group with different abilities.
