TThe Autism Families Association and the Diriyah Gate Development Authority signed on Wednesday 06/09/2021 AD.

A memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation and joint coordination with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority to implement several projects, initiatives and joint events, in a way that contributes to the social development of people with autism spectrum disorder and their families in a manner that serves their active contribution. The most prominent items stipulated cooperation in the possibility of including assets for people with special needs in the Diriyah Gate project, participation in exhibitions, forums, conferences and special visits, raising awareness and educating the Diriyah community on autism spectrum disorder, in addition to implementing model parks and training cadres in public facilities. HRH Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Farhan Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association, expressed his happiness to sign the memorandum of understanding, stressing that the coming period will witness an intensification of cooperation with the Authority in several projects, programs and initiatives, pointing out that this indicates that the Association has become a Being present alongside the new development projects in our country with greater tasks to serve the target group, which resulted in the conclusion of this rare memorandum, if not the first between a charitable organization and any of those huge projects.
