The Autism Families Association has obtained the ISO 9001 international quality certificate. This step comes in fulfillment of the association’s objectives in strengthening institutional building and improving services provided to people with autism spectrum disorder and their families who are beneficiaries of the association. His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Farhan Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors, affirmed the keenness of the Association and all its employees. To provide high-level services and comply with the implementation of quality policy procedures locally and globally, and to continue this performance in order to achieve the great ambitions of the vision of our dear country 2030.
The handover ceremony took place in the presence of the advisor of His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Dr. Khaled Al-Sarhan, and the Secretary-General of the Society, Ms. Areej Al-Moallem, Honorary Member, Her Royal Highness Princess Nouf bint Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and members of the Society’s board of directors and advisors.
It is worth noting that the association is the first facility in the field of autism in the Kingdom to obtain this certificate, as obtaining it came after a comprehensive evaluation of all administrative procedures in which the association operates, and training of its employees in accordance with the standards of managing the quality system globally.​
