The Autism Families Association sponsors the Fourth Saudi Conference on Autism Research and Applied Behavior Analysis

The Autism Families Association sponsored the fourth Saudi Conference on Autism Research and Applied Behavior Analysis in collaboration with the American Accreditation Board (QABA), which was held at Al-Yamamah University in the capital, Riyadh.​

 

The conference lasted for three consecutive days, starting on September 9 at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The highly anticipated conference brought together a wide range of local and international academics, practitioners, and researchers specializing in autism spectrum disorder.​

 

The conference included a comprehensive scientific program featuring panel discussions and specialized workshops with the participation of a select group of speakers and experts. Attendees were also awarded certificates of attendance and continuing medical education (CME) credits.​

 

The conference aims to support and develop the scientific research system in the field of autism in the Kingdom and to promote the transfer of knowledge to practical application in the practices followed with people with autism spectrum disorder, thereby contributing to the desired goal of improving the quality of services provided to people with autism spectrum disorder in various fields and at various levels.​

 

 The conference also featured multiple informational booths and an accompanying exhibition, through which participating entities presented their most prominent initiatives and related projects.
