The Autism Families Association achieved the full score in the governance standards by 100% granted by the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector, which reflects the standard of compliance and commitment, and the standard of transparency and disclosure of the association.
The Secretary-General of the Association, Areej Al-Moallem, explained that achieving the full percentage in the governance scale is an indication of the systematic work that the association is pursuing through clear plans and strategies, the first goal of which is development, quality and transparency in dealings, as it is the way to excellence, distinction and leadership.
She pointed out that with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, the non-profit organization governance initiative was launched in accordance with many regulations and precise laws in dealings, and the association works in this approach to develop the organizational structure of the autism sector, by raising the efficiency of human capabilities working in the autism sector, and strengthening partnership and integration between the agencies working in the autism sector. Autism, raising community awareness of the disorder, supporting and motivating families, and strengthening the institutional building of the Autism Families Association.
