On Monday, the Secretary General of the Association, Ms. Areej Al-Moallem, visited the Onaiza Association for Human Services in Onaiza, Qassim, and was received by the Secretary General of the Centre, Mr. Fahad Al-Wuhaibi, to discuss ways of joint cooperation in the third sector and put forward areas of development, empowerment and community partnerships to serve and support people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in the region.

The visit also included an introductory tour of the centres to learn about the services and programmes offered.

For her part, the Secretary General stated, ‘This visit came as part of our series of systematic visits with the aim of making a tangible impact and covering the necessary needs in line with achieving the vision of the Association to create a sustainable state of integration in accordance with the highest levels of international practices to ensure a better quality of life for people with autism spectrum disorder and their families in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.’

It is worth mentioning that the Secretary General of the Association visited Sanad City for Special Education in Makkah last week, in continuation of achieving the objectives of the Association to upgrade the quality of services provided in the sector in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
